Type by hand

This weekend, I enrolled on a one day workshop to learn type by hand at the Shillington College ran by the Australian Type foundary. I was really looking forward to this class and the teachers were amazing! I never realised how technical the art of drawing a letter could be.

Here is my attempt...

We had to come prepared with a word, phrase or quote and this was my attempt at writing 'Big Yawn' using a chalk pencil. However my teacher thought I was bored of his class. Oops. Definitely not the case.

At the end of the day, everyone in the workshop showing off their masterpieces.
